What is CT MAP?

CT MAP is probably the most affordable mean for creating and animating your own axonometric city maps. It is primarily created to expose research projects and provide Flash animations.

Maps construction

Maps are designed using three objects layers:

  1. Background layer: tiles which lay out to create reserved areas, green spaces, roads, bridges and railways
  2. Middle layer: miscellaneous objects on top the background layer, such as trees, roadsigns, firelights, houses, aerials and roadworks
  3. Top layer: moving vehicules, including urgency vehicles, police and trucks

The two top-level layers way be strongly related so that objects are either shown or hidden depending on their location in the map.
